Freedom Park Elementary Technology Upgrade

Freedom Park Elementary

Fort Gordon, GA – March 30, 2017

Freedom Park Elementary School received a technology upgrade thanks to a $14,990 donation from the Armed Forces Families Foundation. On March 30th, 2017, the school was presented with a check to purchase 25 new HP ProBook computers, licensing software, hardware support and one LocknCharge computer card. Located on-base at Fort Gordon, the school has over 700 Pre-K through 8th grade students primarily from military families. Given that usually there are only two computers available in the typical classroom of 30+ kids, the computers were a welcome addition to the school and are sure to help the students with needs for projects, homework, standardized testing, and more.
