AFFF & Taco Bell Partners with Jacksonville Sharks for Third Military Appreciation Night

Sharks Military Appreciation Night to Raise Funds for the Armed Forces Families Foundation
The Foundation and Taco Bell have partnered with the Jacksonville Sharks to Benefit Military Families
Jacksonville, FL – More fantastic news for the Jacksonville area military service men and women and their families. The Jacksonville Sharks are hosting their 3rd Annual Military Appreciation Night with a focus on raising funds for the Armed Forces Families Foundation on Saturday, May 18th. This charitable organization raises funds annually through a partnership with local Taco Bell restaurants. 100% of donations received are used to create/build projects that positively impact military service men and women and their families right here in Jacksonville.
In 2012 the Sharks also partnered with the Armed Forces Families Foundation and, with the help of the generous fan base, raised over $31,000. The dollars were used to purchase and install two new state‐of‐the‐art playgrounds added to the base at NAS JAX.
In addition, local Taco Bell restaurants have been holding an in‐store fundraiser to further benefit the Armed Forces Families Foundation in conjunction with the Military Appreciation Night. Customers may purchase a “Freedom Bell” for $1 or more now through Saturday with all funds going towards local military projects. All donors receive a coupon good for a Free Taco on their next visit.

To support the Armed Forces Families Foundation, donors may visit a participating local Taco Bell restaurant and purchase a Freedom Bell now through Saturday, May 18th. Or, join the Sharks for their Military Appreciation Night game this Saturday, May 18th at 7pm vs the San Jose Saber Cats.
