AFFF provides $50,862 for Fort Eustis USO renovation

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Armed Forces Families Foundation donated $50,862 to help fund a renovation at the USO Welcome Center at Fort Eustis in Virginia in June of 2012.

The upgrades included expanding the facility’s kitchen area and small office area and renovating the bathroom to provide separate restrooms for men and women.

The USO Welcome Center facility located on base at Fort Eustis in Newport News provides quality of life programs to more than 20,000 personnel on base, seven days a week from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. during weekdays and from noon until 5 p.m. on weekends.
