AFFF provides $5,866.30 for Jacksonville USO Center Floor Remodel

Naval Air Station USO Center

Jacksonville, FL – October 24, 2012

The Armed Forces Families Foundation funded $5,866.30 for the remodel of the flooring at the USO Welcome Center at the Jacksonville International Airport, a 1,000 square foot Center that allows our military troops and families an opportunity to relax, utilize the free cyber café computer/services, get free drinks and snacks, and more.

In order to upgrade the flooring, which had been buckling and was in dire need of replacement, the Foundation provided funds for the installation of a new hardwood floor, designed to withstand the heavy volume of traffic that the Center receives each year.
