AFFF provides $42,586.96 for new picnic pavilion at Cpl. William F. Lyell U.S. Army Reserve Center in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Armed Forces Families Foundation provided $42,586.96 to construct a new family picnic pavilion at the Cpl. William F. Lyell U.S. Army Reserve Center in Nashville.
The pavilion is used to improve morale and welfare of military personnel, their spouses and children. Additionally, it serves as an outdoor space for meetings, classes, cookouts and activities, for personnel and command functions, including family day activities for unit personnel.
The Cpl. William F. Lyell U.S. Army Reserve Center in Nashville is a 96,000 square foot facility that serves as the home of 12 military units. Over 100 full-time military members and civilian employees, and 900 reservists are assigned there.
