USO Upgrade at Fort Campbell

Fort Campbell USO Center Upgrade

Nashville, TN – March 26, 2013

The Armed Forces Families Foundation funded a $6,052 project at the Fort Campbell USO Center. The Center received furniture, various technology upgrades, restroom appliances, and new carpeting as a result of the Foundation’s contributions. The USO of Fort Campbell originally opened on November 30, 2012.

The Foundation’s contributions helped to provide certain vital components to the facility that were essential to the Center’s functionality and usefulness to its visitors. These included a sound system to be used for events held at the the location; privacy coverings for the conference rooms as required by various meeting, events and classes; video conferencing capabilities; a heavy-duty carpet cleaning machine for future events; and diaper-changing tables for the bathrooms to provide privacy for the parents at the USO Center.
