AFFF provides $35,248.50 to fund the installation of the leveled library at Freedom Park School

FORT GORDON, Ga. – The Armed Forces Families Foundation donated $35,248.50 to help fund the installation of a leveled library at Freedom Park School.

In 2018, Freedom Park Elementary School received their Georgia Milestones test results and it was determined that their students were struggling with reading and comprehension.

As a result, the Armed Forces Families Foundation provided the money to help the school purchase a leveled library, which consisted of more than 6,240 content area books that students use at various skill levels.

The collection covered science and social studies subject matte, as well as books aimed at increasing reading comprehension.
