Spectrum News – 10k Gets Underway Sunday

Runners are making their final preparations before heading to the 6th annual Skyway 10K taking place on Sunday, March 12.

The 10K is a point-to-point course from Manatee County to Pinellas County with over 8,000 participants running 6.2 miles northbound over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. All the the proceeds go to the Armed Forces Families Foundation, which helps military families build a sense of community support and well-being while their loved ones are away.

The Sunshine Skyway Bridge’s traffic patterns will be changing to accommodate the run.
